Project Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced data transformation consultant to help develop our integrated data architecture. The consultant will play a critical role in helping our organization streamline and optimize our data integration processes. The ideal candidate will be a SQL expert, a quick learner, detail oriented, familiar with integrated data models, and have demonstrated experience mapping data and writing optimized and accurate data transformations.

Scope of work:
- Create and refine transformations
- Design and implement efficient and accurate transformation logic using our existing model, mapping, and requirements documentation.
- Review and optimize existing transformation logic to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Identify and communicate back to the project team when transformation logic or process is lacking. Collaborate with the team to resolve.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with the data team to understand business requirements and ensure transformed data meets business requirements.
- Document transformations and changes for future reference.
- Collaborate with data engineer as needed to ensure that transformations are running correctly in the necessary data pipelines.

Skills & Experience:

- Communication: proactive communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
